Equipment

  • a large metal bowl
  • a baloon whisk, stand mixer or hand mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 250 ml double cream / heavy cream (1 cup)
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or paste

Instructions
 

  • In a large metal bowl, pour in the cream, sugar and vanilla.
  • Whip until soft peaks form and serve with your favourite cake or dessert.

Notes

  • Use a Cold Bowl - the cream will whip up faster
  • Dip a spoon in hot water - to make quenelles from the cream
